Grooming Operations (updated 12/14/17)
The Holy Cross Powder Hounds recently received a 2015 Prinoth Husky groomer. This is a brand new groomer that was previously used as a demo groomer but had not been titled by anyone else. It is more narrow than our previous groomers at 10 feet versus 12 feet. This groomer was funded through CSA and Colorado State Parks. We actively groom Red & White and Moniger Road to Muddy Pass. We try to groom twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday evenings when the schedule allows. Check the CSA website to get active updates and snow conditions for our trails. Membership and snowmobile registration are key to funding the grooming operations. Even if you do not spend much time riding on the groomed trails, the grooming efforts help preserve our areas for snowmobile.
